As part of Accreditation Preparations we want to highlight each week a POLICY that is important for all staff to review and think about how it relates to your work.
To add some fun to this task we also would like to also highlight a staff PET each week and pair it with a policy we ask you to review!
If you would like your pet featured as part of this activity, please send me a picture(s) of your pet and brief bio and I will include them with the weekly policy emails.
The POLICY for this week is Program Response Times Policy. Each program has their own response time requirements regarding how timely requests for service are to be responded to and your program may follow the attached response times policy or have its own. For some programs this may be same day, others within a 24-48 hour time period for example.
QUESTIONS that may be asked of you by a SURVEYOR:
- “How do you respond to requests for service within your program?”
- “How does someone refer to your program or service?”
- “What is your responsibility for follow up after you have made a referral to a program/service?”
