An event every week that begins at 4:30 pm on Friday, happening 6 times

Is Your Brain Controlling You?
Do You Ever Feel Like Your Relationships are Stressful?
Do Your Emotions Often Take Charge?
Do You Action on Emotion too Quickly?

These classes are available for youth ages 12-29 (and their guardian/caregiver(s) to attend as applicable), and intended for individuals who want help managing difficult emotions and/or who have struggled with self-harm & thoughts of suicide. The class is lecture-style versus participatory (youth don’t need to worry about doing group work or speaking aloud, but there will be opportunities throughout each session to ask questions confidentially to facilitators). Each class teaches a different set of DBT skills, related to mindfulness; interpersonal effectiveness; emotion regulation; walking the middle path; and distress tolerance.
