NorWest has partnered with the University of Manitoba School of Dental Hygiene again to offer FREE DENTAL SCREENING in our community for anyone 0 to 99+ years of age, at Access NorWest. This service is currently open to anyone.
Appointments will be available Thursday mornings starting January 20th, 2022 – March 31, 2022. Six appointments are available each morning, approximately 45 minutes long.
What can someone expect at a dental health screening?
- Dental Hygiene students will be looking into their mouth to assess their gums and teeth
- Medical history and history of dental care will be obtained
- They will be offered a fluoride treatment
- They may be referred for additional dental cleaning in partnership with a dental clinic
