Adolescent Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) core icon

DBT is an evidence-based treatment program for individuals struggling with self-harm and thoughts of suicide.

Adolescents ages 13-18 years commit to meeting with a therapist one time per week and attend a weekly skills training group with their parent/caregiver (Wednesdays 4:30pm-6pm at Access NorWest, 785 Keewatin St.) for a minimum of 6 months.

The Adolescent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) waitlist is NOW CLOSED.

A few times per year a condensed DBT skills class (6 weeks long, one 1.5 hour session per week), is run through the NorWest Youth Hub. For more information on this, please call the Youth Hub at (204) 221-9800.
