It’s not easy moving into a new country.

Newcomers to the country who settle in our community are able to access support services from our Neighbourhood Immigrant Settlement Worker and can attend community events to learn about Canadian culture.

Details:

We offer a variety information sessions that are important to you. Some topics we have covered include:

  • housing
  • employment
  • health
  • childcare

Eligibility: One-on-one appointments are available for individuals and families who would like support in some aspect of their settlement, such as learning how to: use public transit, find childcare, sponsor family, upgrade skills, become a Canadian citizen, and access health, language or employment services.

We also offer a wide variety of programming such as groups and events covering health topics, wellness, parenting, adapting to Canadian culture, coffee clubs and more!
