Community Financial Help Line

Supporting Employment & Economic Development Winnipeg (SEED), Community Financial Counselling Services (CFCS), Community Unemployed Help Centre (CUHC), and United Way Winnipeg have joined to develop a coordinated, multi-agency telephone information service to assist low-income Manitobans to secure vital income benefits and meet their basic needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The FRC team, Richard (CFCS), Christine (CFCS), Millie (SEED), Roberta (SEED) & Barb (SEED) will assist callers to file personal income tax returns, apply for income support programs, and connect to community resources.

Effective Monday, June 29th, all Family Resource Centres may distribute this information to community.  Community members have the option to call or text the Community Financial Help Line 1-431-813-HELP (4357) between the hours of 10am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.
